Hey everyone,
I know its been a while since I have posted a blog however I promise starting today I will be better at this. As you may have already noticed we have done an update to my website, I hope you like it as much as I do. A big thanks to Pepper from 9,000 Miles for all her hard work putting this together for me.
It has been a busy but great year for us. We spent about 6 months of this year on the road between Tyson’s Rodeo Schedule and my Music and Modeling. Tyson qualified for his 8th NFR this year which is awesome and he will be competing at the NFR in Las Vegas starting Dec 3rd- 12th. I will also be performing during the Opening Ceremony at the Rodeo Saturday night Dec 5th. I am pretty excited to be performing in the same arena Tyson will be roping in. I remember as a little girl always wanting to go and just watch the NFR but now not only will I be watching my Husband compete but I will also be performing in the opening ceremony to a sold out crowd of 20,000 Rodeo fans. For those who don’t know who “Tyson” is when I speak about him in my blogs, let me explain. Tyson Durfey is my husband, Tyson has qualified for the NFR 8 times, won 3 Canadian titles and won the biggest 1 day Rodeo in the world “The American”. Tyson and I got married Oct 2013, it has been the best 2 years of my life. Tyson also grew up in a Rodeo family like myself & had to work hard to get where he is at today he spent many nights sleeping in the back of his truck to be able to Rodeo. I am blessed to call this man my Husband- he is a hard worker and an amazing man not to mention a awesome Tie Down Roper. Ok now time for a Music update: I know it seems like a while since I have had a new album out for my Aussie fans but good things come to those who wait. For those of you in the US the time has finally come, I have a brand new album on iTunes available now. I wanted to share some of my music with you all that I had released in Australia over the years. My brand new album includes my four #1 songs I had back home in Australia and a song co-wrote with Taylor Swift. I really hope you enjoy it. Right now I am also in the middle of writing and working on new songs for my album to be released at the end of 2016. This for sure is one of my favorite albums I have ever worked on. I released my very first song at the age of 17 back home in Australia which was almost 10 years ago so I have been able to live life and learn so much through my own personal experiences. It’s amazing how the good and the bad times can be so inspiring for song writing. My goal when writing songs is to try and be as honest as possible so hopefully you are able to relate with me. I know between break ups, first loves, heart break, loss, marriage etc their are a lot of things us girls can relate to with each other. On another note I will be flying back home to Australia for two weeks over Christmas and will be shooting two brand new music videos for two new songs “Tattoo” & “Tough” I am SO excited for y’all to hear these two songs and see the music videos.
